Be enthralled in the oasis of peace with NFTT’s Jain Tirth in Bihar.
Not many are aware of the fact that Bihar is one of the holy places for Jains, as the last Jain Tirthankara was born here. A visit to the Jain shrines in Bihar will allow you to catch a glimpse of the pristine aura of Jain culture. Jain Tirth Bihar provides insight into Lord Mahaveer’s life journey. In this land, Lord Mahaveer abandoned his worldly possessions, meditated for years, and advocated the Jain path of life for liberation from oneself. A trip here is something that every Jain pilgrim wishes to experience at least once in their life.
The most prominent derasar in Bihar is Sammed Shikharji, which is one of the most sacred sites in Jainism and is considered to be the location where twenty Tirthankaras, along with several other saints, attained Nirvana. Pawapuri Sidhakshetra, Rajgruhi Siddha Kshetra, Nalanda Ruins, and Vaishali Teerth Sthala are among the other destinations that can be visited during Bihar Tierth.
