After an amazing overnight stay in Dharamshala and performing a Pooja and Navkarsi, proceed to Amritsar. Along the way, visit Malelkotla and the Jagvallabh Parshvnath Swetamber Jain Temple. After darshan, continue on to Amritsar where you will have a comfortable overnight stay.

Visit the Jallianwala Bagh, a historic garden and memorial of national importance located in Amritsar. Also visit the Wagah border, which is situated 600 meters west of the border and lies on the historic Grand Trunk Road between Lahore and Amritsar. Additionally, visit the Golden Temple (known as Harmandir Sahib) which is a Gurdwara built around a man-made pool completed by Guru Ram Das in 1577. Spend the night in Amritsar.

After breakfast, check out of your accommodations in Amritsar and begin the journey to Kangda. Along the way, stop at the Mata Jawala Ji Temple Shaktipeeth. Upon arriving in Kangda, complete the check-in process and relax. Have dinner and spend the night at the Jain Dharamshala.

Wake up before the day breaks, have a hearty breakfast, and start your journey towards Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, situated at the Trikuta Mountain Peak at an elevation of about 5,200 feet. The base camp Katra is located at an altitude of 2500 feet above sea level; whereas Mata’s Bhawan is located at 5200 feet. On the way, take appropriate breaks and replenish yourself with some snacks and water at regular intervals. You will probably be able to reach the gates of Vaishno Devi by afternoon and then proceed for the darshan.

Feel the essence of spirituality that fills the atmosphere at Vaishno Devi Temple and gives out positive vibes. After puja, aarti, and darshan start trekking downhill towards the base camp. Reach Katra in the evening and proceed directly to the hotel to have a delicious dinner. After a tiresome journey, retire for the day at the hotel in Katra.
