Afternoon, discover the charm of Hanoi with our immersive half-day city tour featuring the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university and a symbol of the city’s rich cultural heritage; Dong Xuan Market, the largest market in Hanoi, where you can experience the vibrant local trade, shop for souvenirs, and taste authentic street food; and a walking tour of Hanoi Old Quarter, where you’ll explore the bustling streets, historic architecture, and unique shop houses.

Morning, embark on a breathtaking journey to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning limestone karsts and emerald waters. Travel from Hanoi via the expressway (2.5 – 3 hours) for a faster and more comfortable ride.

Upon arrival, board a boat for a 3.5-hour cruise, sailing past magnificent rock formations and scenic islets. Enjoy a delicious local lunch onboard as you soak in the beauty of the bay. Afternoon, start your half-day city tour of Da Nang with a visit to the Marble Mountains, a cluster of five limestone and marble hills representing the five elements. Explore the mystical caves, ancient pagodas, and scenic viewpoints offering panoramic views of the coastline and city (round way elevator ride to Thuy Son included). Continue to the Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula, home to the tallest Lady Buddha statue in Vietnam, standing at 67 meters, overlooking the sea. Next, visit Dragon Bridge, an iconic symbol of Da Nang, known for its impressive design and weekend fire-breathing displays (you won't see fire-breathing displays at this hour). Conclude the tour with a stop at Han Market, where you can shop for souvenirs before returning to your hotel.

Continue to Hoian Ancient Town, exploring its charming lantern-lit streets, historical houses, Japanese Covered Bridge, and bustling night market. Free time for shopping before returning to Da Nang in the evening.

Stop at Unicorn Island, where you’ll visit a coconut candy workshop, enjoy a rowing boat ride through natural canals, and sample seasonal tropical fruits while listening to traditional Southern Vietnamese music.
